AMA Announces 2025 U.S. Motocross of Nations Team
The American Motorcyclist Association has officially unveiled the three riders set to represent the United States at the 2025 Motocross of Nations, with the event taking place on home soil at the legendary Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, from October 3–5. AMA Director of Racing and newly appointed Team USA manager Mike Pelletier confirmed that Chase Sexton, Eli Tomac, and Haiden Deegan will carry the Stars and Stripes in what promises to be one of the most highly anticipated motocross showdowns in years.

For Sexton, the 2023 AMA Supercross champion, this year’s Motocross of Nations will hold a personal significance. “It’s extra special for me with the race taking place so close to where I grew up,” Sexton said, referring to his Illinois roots. Known for his precision, consistency, and relentless drive, Sexton is expected to thrive in front of a home crowd, eager to deliver a strong performance on familiar terrain.
Joining him is Eli Tomac, a veteran powerhouse and one of the sport’s most decorated riders. With multiple AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross titles to his name, Tomac brings a wealth of experience and proven big-race composure. His return to the international stage will be closely watched, especially as he continues to recover from injuries that sidelined him in recent seasons. Fans will be eager to see if he can summon the same dominant form that has made him a fixture at the top of the sport.
Completing the trio is Haiden Deegan, the young rising star who has already made waves in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Known for his aggressive style and fearless attitude, Deegan represents the next generation of American motocross talent. His selection marks a significant milestone in his young career, and his inclusion injects fresh energy into a team blending veteran experience with youthful fire.
Team USA will look to reclaim glory at the Motocross of Nations, an event often dubbed the “Olympics of Motocross,” where national pride meets raw speed and endurance. The home advantage at Ironman Raceway — a track famed for its deep soil, technical jumps, and unpredictable weather — could play a decisive role in the outcome.
With a balanced lineup of skill, speed, and experience, Pelletier is confident in the team’s chances. “This group represents the best of American motocross,” he said. “We’re ready to put on a show for the home crowd and fight for that Chamberlain Trophy.”
If you’d like, I can also create a more adrenaline-charged, commentator-style version so it reads like a live sports hype announcement. That would make it feel like race day already.
