Jessica Korda Boosts Comeback Hype With a Nelly Korda Update Despite All Setbacks…..

Jessica Korda, a six-time LPGA Tour winner, has been on a hiatus since May 2023 due to a persistent back injury. In August 2023, she announced her pregnancy with husband Johnny DelPrete, with their first child, Greyson John DelPrete, born on February 3, 2024.

Despite these personal milestones, Korda has remained active in the golf community. In December 2023, she returned to the Grant Thornton Invitational, not as a competitor but as a live coverage host, engaging with fans and sharing insights from the event.

Korda’s sister, Nelly Korda, has continued to excel on the LPGA Tour. In November 2024, Nelly was honored with the Rolex Player of the Year Award and the Rolex Annika Major Award at the Rolex LPGA Awards in Naples, Florida. She secured seven victories in 2024, including her second major title at the Chevron Championship.

The Korda family’s athletic prowess extends beyond golf. Their father, Petr Korda, won the 1998 Australian Open in tennis, and their brother, Sebastian Korda, clinched the 2018 Australian Open junior title. This legacy continues to inspire both Jessica and Nelly in their respective careers.

While Jessica Korda focuses on her family and recovery, Nelly Korda’s achievements highlight the enduring success of the Korda family in professional sports.
