Megadeth Frontman Dave Mustaine Announces 2026 Farewell Tour – ‘One Last Ride’ Marks the End of a Rock Legend’s Era, Dates and Cities Revealed…

Legendary thrash metal band Megadeth, led by frontman Dave Mustaine, has officially unveiled plans for their 2026 Farewell Tour, signaling the end of one of metal’s most influential careers and celebrating over four decades of groundbreaking music. Mustaine confirmed that the band’s upcoming self-titled album — due for release January 23, 2026 — will be their final studio record, and will be followed by a global farewell tour aptly billed as the closing chapter of the Megadeth legacy.

Dubbed the “This Was Our Life” Tour, the trek kicks off February 15, 2026, with a headlining run across Canada, featuring support from thrash metal peers Anthrax and Exodus. Early stops include Victoria, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Ottawa, Halifax, Moncton, and Québec City through March 6.

After Canada, Megadeth’s farewell extends into Latin America and South America in April and May, with confirmed dates in Lima (Costa 21), Bogotá, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Santiago, and notable shows across Mexico.

The band’s global itinerary continues into June and beyond, with European shows including festivals and stadium appearances in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, and historic first-time stops like Almaty, Kazakhstan — a milestone for the group’s international reach.

Later in 2026, Megadeth also joins Iron Maiden on the Run For Your Lives World Tour for select North American stadium dates — a major pairing of two of heavy metal’s most enduring acts.

For fans worldwide, this farewell isn’t just a series of concerts — it’s a chance to witness a defining era in heavy metal history coming to a close, with Mustaine and his bandmates delivering one last electrifying global performance run.
