Metallica’s Announce 2026 M72 World Tour Dates and Major Cities Finally Revealed…

Metallica’s announced 2026 M72 World Tour dates and major cities as part of their ongoing global trek supporting the 72 Seasons album:

Metallica has officially extended their record-breaking M72 World Tour into 2026, revealing a packed schedule of stadium shows across Europe and the UK. This fourth year of touring builds on one of the band’s most ambitious runs ever, featuring the iconic mid-field, in-the-round stage setup with the Snake Pit at its heart and the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” format that delivers distinct setlists across multiple nights.

Kicking off on May 9, 2026, in Athens, Greece at Olympic Stadium, the European leg spans major cities and long-awaited stops. Metallica will play single-night shows in cities including Bucharest (Romania), Chorzów (Poland), Zurich (Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), Bologna (Italy), Glasgow (Scotland), and Cardiff (Wales), bringing their full production to each venue.

Four cities are slated for No Repeat Weekend engagements — where two nights of concerts feature entirely different setlists and support acts — including Frankfurt (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Dublin (Ireland), and London (England). These cities highlight Metallica’s commitment to offering fans fresh experiences at consecutive shows, with support from heavy hitters like Gojira, Knocked Loose, Pantera, and Avatar on select dates.

The UK leg concludes with two nights in London at the London Stadium on July 3 and July 5, 2026, capping a robust schedule that ensures Metallica’s presence firmly across the continent next summer.

Tickets for these dates went on sale in mid-2025, and as usual, proceeds will benefit the band’s All Within My Hands charity, which supports community education and food-security initiatives globally.
