On Saturday night, the Kansas City Chiefs provided positive injury news about one of their important offensive
players. On Sunday, the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will square off in the AFC Championship Game.
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs had many injuries.
This week’s injury list for the Chiefs included many important offensive players. Joe Thuney, an offensive lineman,
was ruled out by the team on Friday afternoon. Kadarius Toney, a wide receiver, was downgraded to out on Saturday
due to personal and ankle issues.
Isiah Pacheco, the running back, received better news on Saturday from the Chiefs. Due to a toe or ankle injury,
sustained against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, Pacheco was declared doubtful to play against the Ravens
on Friday.
Pacheco did not show up for the first two workouts this week. But on Friday, he made a limited comeback to the
Chiefs’ last practice of the week.
The Chiefs’ offense will benefit from Pacheco’s arrival. Pacheco has been utilized by quarterback Patrick Mahomes to
counterbalance an offense that has occasionally had receiver play issues this season.
Pacheco’s injury to the Ravens will probably continue to affect him. The Chiefs obviously made an effort to shield
him during this week’s practice. The Chiefs are hoping that his ankle will allow them to play the Ravens for an
additional sixty minutes.
Pacheco will have two weeks to recover before the Super Bowl if the Chiefs win on Sunday.
