Breaking: A great defender for the Green Bay Packers has a last-minute……….

Since Jaire Alexander, one of the most important players for the Green Bay Packers, left the game due to an ankle injury during last weekend’s thrilling wild card upset victory over the Dallas Cowboys, fans have been curious about Alexander’s playing condition.

Just a few hours after the game against the San Francisco 49ers, Alexander—a former professional bowler, second team All-Pro, and the highest paid corner in football—had his playing status made public, according to Bridget Condon.

The defense has long been a problem for the Packers, as seen by the team’s “Common Era” with quarterbacks Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and now Jordan Love. Despite allocating nearly all of their top draft picks on the defensive end of the ball, Green Bay has consistently been unable to assemble a superior defense.

Alexander is one player who has undoubtedly succeeded on an individual basis. In addition to receiving the aforementioned honors, Alexander has established himself as one of the NFL’s elite and unique “lockdown corners.”
Having only one reliable corner will not be enough to halt the formidable 49ers attack, which is led by Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Deebo Samuel.

But with Jaire adding another dimension to a team that has been playing above expectations without him—Carrington Vallentine, Keisean Nixon, and Corey Ballentine have all done a fantastic job of holding down the fort—the Pack now has a better chance of slowing down or even stopping the 49ers.

The 49ers are still a strong favorite in this game.
