Charles Leclerc, a driver with Scuderia Ferrari, was happy with his podium finish at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, even though Red
Bull had a sizable lead at the conclusion.
Charles Leclerc was clearly irritated during the Bahrain Grand Prix because he was not able to use his brakes to the fullest extent
possible. However, after finishing on the first podium of the 2024 Formula 1 season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the Monegasque
driver appeared much more cool this time around.
All praise must go to the SF-24, which—apart from Red Bull—proved to be an exceptionally competitive vehicle, even though it still
trails the defending champions by a wide margin.
However, Red Bull is already in the sights of Charles Leclerc. After the race, Leclerc said, “I haven’t checked the pace yet, but I imagine
it might have been perhaps 3-4 tenths slower per lap, which is a lot in motorsport.” As the Ferrari man pointed out, “We are the team
that has improved the most because we have worked very well, and we just have to keep doing that. However, if you examine every
part of the car, if you gain one hundredth for each section, then you gain immediately.” Our time will come, I’m confident.
“We can clearly see where we need to make improvements, which is encouraging for this season. I’m not sure what Red Bull possesses.
Continuing the interview, the number 16 made a suggestion that Ferrari has plans to improve the SF24’s performance and possibly be
able to challenge the Austrian team in the latter half of the 2024 Formula 1 campaign, much like Red Bull, which is expected to bring a
sizable package of updates for Imola.
“I’m not sure when precisely, but we also have some stuff coming up. Really, I know, but I’m not allowed to say it. Yes, we will keep
working and concentrating on ourselves in the hopes that we will soon be able to put them under strain. Charles Leclerc, a
Monegasque driver for Scuderia Ferrari, completed.
