Kenyan Drake, 29, has been a member of the NFL since 2016. During his NFL career, he has suitably played for the

Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens. He has played for multiple teams

since the start of the season, including the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and Baltimore Ravens twice.

The Packers choose to go with rookie Ellis Merriweather over Aaron Jones, who is slated to miss his third straight

game due to a knee injury. Drake is the third-string back behind Patrick Taylor and AJ Dillon.

Kenyan Drake will be available for the Packers’ game against the Giants on Monday.

Drake has been added to Green Bay’s active roster, the organization said. Drake was previously on the practice

squad.

Drake joined the practice squad of the Packers last week. Earlier in the season, he had two appearances for Baltimore

and caught two receptions for 31 yards. After that, he trained with the Browns’ squad, however he didn’t play in any

games.

Drake ran for 482 yards and four touchdowns last season in 12 games for Baltimore. He also grabbed 17 receptions

for 89 yards and one touchdown.

Due to a knee ailment, Aaron Jones is not anticipated to play, therefore Drake will give Green Bay some depth at

running back.
