In Tuscaloosa, optimism is contagious. It originates from the Crimson Tide players and the newly hired Alabama Football staff. With

the first spring practice on March 4, fans of Alabama are also expecting big things from the Kalen DeBoer era.

One significant adjustment that has Crimson Tide supporters excited is the addition of media viewing hours to select spring practice

sessions. Increased access to DeBoer’s coaching staff means even greater change. Reporters will spend more time with Crimson Tide

assistants than Nick Saban, who prefers to have “one voice” for Alabama football.

This week, Defensive Coordinator Kane Wommack, one of the new assistants, participated in a media session. Among his remarks was

Wommack’s description of his talks with Nick Saban.

Nick Saban had to become familiar with the roles and duties in Wommack’s 4-2-5 defensive scheme in order to offer the greatest

analysis. When Wommack talked about the sessions, the most insightful thing he said was, “There’s a ton of carryover in what we do

and what Coach Saban has done.”

Regarding the ‘terrible’ parking claim, there’s no denying that Nick Saban has the right to park on the University of Alabama campus

anywhere and however he pleases.

Nick Sheridan on the QB return for Alabama football

This week, Jalen Milroe received great appreciation from Nick Sheridan, the offensive coordinator for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Speaking about the quarterback for the Crimson Tide who is returning, Sheridan stated,

Sheridan responded to a query from supporters of the Crimson Tide. He’ll be the play-caller and offensive coordinator for the Alabama

football team. Additionally, Kane Wommack announced that he will call defensive plays from the sidelines as opposed to the coaches

booth.
