Discuss trading up. Mecole Hardman, a former Georgia wide receiver, started the season as one of Aaron Rogers’ top wideouts with

the New York Jets after playing for the Chiefs for his first four NFL seasons. Aaron Rogers was done for the season after just one week.

Mecole Hardman was traded for two late-round picks in the 2025 Draft and returned to the Kansas City Chiefs after just five games.

The Chiefs and Hardman have returned to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons, and they will be attempting to win their

third Super Bowl title in that span. The Jets concluded the season with a 7-10 record. Prior to the San Francisco 49ers’ visit to Las

Vegas,

“I think we’re good with that,” the veteran of five years stated. “Our position was favorable. I believe that there are still a lot of things

that we are working on. You need to make sure that we’re not punishing ourselves for trivial things, such as penalties or, in this

example, failing to properly handle the ball. However, I believe that we’re doing well and that we have some momentum. So it will be

interesting to watch how we perform in this match. Hardman caught 60 passes for 961 yards and 15 touchdowns from scrimmage in

his two years at Georgia. Additionally, he excelled in the return game, averaging 20.1 yards and 25.2 yards per kick return.

“All I’m saying is, just get the ball to him. He’s playing with it. We will keep feeding him because he is doing what he is supposed to do

when he gets the ball and he has been very lively with it. You will therefore succeed when you engage in all of those activities.” When

the Chiefs play the 49ers on Sunday (6:30 PM ET, CBS), Hardman will have the opportunity to win his third Super Bowl ring.
