According to the report, Pritchett was charged with intentionally disseminating a sexually transmitted disease and

subsequently freed on a $500 bond.

This season, the 19-year-old made 13 appearances for the Crimson Tide, mostly as a reserve. Prior to the season,

Pritchett and true freshman offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor battled it out for the starting left tackle position, which

Proctor eventually took.

Pritchett briefly used the NCAA transfer portal last week, and he quickly withdrew his name.

There aren’t many guys like Caleb Downs and Kadyn Proctor. In the SEC, having an instant impact starter as a

freshman is uncommon, and having one on both sides of the ball is even more unusual. A few players with

The No. 2 class, which included 2023 signees, marked the Crimson Tide’s conclusion on Wednesday. Three five-star

players from Alabama are Ryan Williams (WR), Jaylen Mbakwe (CB), and Julian Sayin (QB). Sayin and Mbakwe will

enroll in February, while Williams is an early enrollee. Additionally, they added Texas A&M’s former five-star LT

Overton (DL) via the transfer site. Overton will practice with the team at Rose Bowl. Four-star DL

Canada’s Steve Mboumoua signed with Alabama. Texas native Aeryn Hampton and Miami native Kevin Riley, both

We have already shown how crucial early enrollment may be. Downs and Proctor, who were previously mentioned,

joined early and took part in Sugar Bowl preparation last winter. The SEC All-Freshman Team included both of

them. Guys that enrolled early were Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr.

When speaking at the press conference on Wednesday, Saban discussed the benefits of having signees arrive on

campus early.
