In the 2025 recruiting cycle, Shivers, who stands six feet five inches and weighs 320 pounds, commits to the Bulldogs as the sixth

player in a class that also features five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry.

Shivers described the defensive program as “just great.” “That is the best there is to be.”

Shivers has made two previous trips to Athens.

“They feel like family and welcome me with open arms,” Shivers remarked.

With Kirby Smart, the head coach, defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann, defensive line coach Tray Scott, and director of recruiting

relations David Cooper, Shivers thought he clicked.

Shivers praised each of them as excellent coaches. They will teach you the proper method and support your growth as a man, a person,

and a football player. Overall, Coop is a really nice man. We chat every other day or so.

As a quick-footed, strong, large-framed point-of-attack player, Shivers excels at Humboldt on the football field and hardwood. Shivers

satisfies the requirements Georgia has been using when hiring at the line of scrimmage.

Hayden Williams, the head coach of Humboldt, remarked, “Stephon is a great kid.” “Excellent work ethic; always working out at the

gym.” He is a multi-sport athlete that plays basketball, being a member of the 1,000-point club, football, and is one of the best guys to

be around.

“A strong performer, he’s constantly creating plays.” He can really stop runs. His first step is swift. He also excels at pass rush. He

plays with a lot of drive.

He’s one of the sweetest kids you’ll ever meet, an excellent student, an athlete, and all around good guy.

In Athens, Williams believes Shivers is making a major impact.

“Just Georgia’s history,” Williams remarked. “Obviously, Georgia improved over the last few years and took home a handful ofnational

championships. That is advantageous for hiring. Getting guys in the door is a wonderful thing. Their goal is to compete for a prize.

Still, compared to some other schools, closer to home. His family doesn’t need to board an aircraft to travel there; they may take a trip

and attend games more frequently.
