Brandon Hunter, an NBA player for the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic, passed away at the age of 42.

soon.”

In addition, the Magic announced his passing on social media, writing, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of our former
teammate, Brandon Hunter.” The entire Hunter family has our sincere sympathy.
T.J. Ford, a former NBA point guard, also commented on Hunter’s passing on Instagram, writing, “Lost another good brother.” My

Hunter played throughout Europe for teams in Greece, Italy, and Israel after departing the Magic in 2005.
Hunter attended a university in Ohio, where he was born. In accordance with his NBA move, he donned the No. 56 jersey after being
selected by the Celtics in the second round of the 2003 selection, 56th overall.
He participated in the NBA Summer League after being signed by LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers in 2006, but was cut two weeks
later.
