There are just a few games remaining in the 2023 NFL regular season for clubs throughout the league—three, to be
exact—and two contenders are leading different ways in Week 15 of the competition for NFL MVP.
With Dak Prescott and company looking to make a statement against one of the stronger teams in the AFC, the
Dallas Cowboys vs. Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium was the most anticipated game heading into
Week 15.
Prior to this game, Prescott was possibly the favorite to earn MVP, but after what Brock Purdy of the San Francisco
49ers did to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, that won’t be the case on Monday morning.
LeSean McCoy, a former standout running back for the Philadelphia Eagles, couldn’t resist criticizing Prescott on
Twitter for missing the game against the Bills.
McCoy tweeted, “MVP MVP ain’t no way the MCP got 82 yards n the 4th.”
The Cowboys were unable to muster any offensive momentum against the Bills on Sunday. Prescott had one of his
poorest games of the year, throwing for just 134 yards on 21 completions, one interception, and no touchdown
passes.
The Cowboys’ upcoming road game against the Miami Dolphins won’t get any easier for Prescott and company; it
will be a challenging challenge for both the offense and the defense.
It will be interesting to watch if Prescott can reclaim the MVP title and if the Cowboys can overcome a formidable
Dolphins squad in Week 16.
