The Miami Dolphins have demonstrated once again that they will almost certainly win a game when they have a
favorable matchup.
They defeated the Washington Commander to increase their record to 9-3 and solidify their hold on the AFC East,
proving the statement to be accurate.
Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill combined for two long touchdowns to put the game beyond the Commanders’ reach,
giving the Dolphins a strong early lead.
Miami put on a show, though, as their defense made sure to pursue Sam Howell and keep Washington’s scoreboard
from ever getting close.
The Dolphins’ defense has recently improved, although they lost an important player when Jaelan Phillips
Although Phillips’ Achilles injury required surgery recently, his teammates did a fantastic job of letting him know
they’re still thinking of him during his recuperation.
Given how productive Phillips has been this season, the linebacker corps will be hurt, but Miami’s defense will need
to find ways to compensate for his absence.
Thankfully, though, the club is finding its rhythm again and ought to pose a serious danger in the postseason.
From the comfort of his house, Phillips will be rooting for them, but at least he knows he’s still in the team.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa needs to be upright in the pocket if the Miami Dolphins are to have a successful season.
The Dolphins find it far more challenging in Terron Armstead’s absence.
With an ankle injury, Armstead had to leave Miami’s Week 13 game against the Commanders. The Dolphins said that
the left tackle’s availability to play again is uncertain.
On Miami’s last play of the first half, Armstead was hurt. But the Dolphins led 31–7 at halftime when the half
finished with a touchdown. Given their significant advantage, Miami might decide to sit Armstead out.
Throughout the season, the left tackle has had multiple injuries to cope with. He has battled quad problems and knee
injuries that put him on injured reserve.
The Dolphins had tied for 27th place in the NFL with 17 sacks of Tagovailoa going into Week 13. There’s no denying
Miami’s powerful offensive. But to bring them there, their offensive line has significantly improved.
The Dolphins can allow Terron Armstead to rest his ankle ailment with a commanding lead against the
Commanders. But the team will need their left tackle to be fully healthy as the playoffs approach. Armstead received
a complete glimpse of Miami’s potential versus the Commanders despite not being able to play the entire game.
