Celtic’s exit confirmed
Yose Ideguchi has left Celtic permanently to join J-League winners Vissel Kobe, the club has revealed. After joining the Scottish
champions in January 2022, the midfield player from Gamba Osaka made just six appearances. He played for Japanese team Avispa
Fukuoka on loan during the previous season, and he received a J-League Player of the Year nomination. Vissel Kobe, the J-League
champion from the previous season, decided to go as a result, reportedly for a little bit more than the £850,000 Celtic paid for him
eighteen months prior. Ideguchi said, “I’ll never forget my memories of Glasgow,” in an Instagram goodbye to Celtic. I appreciate you
all very much. You have my support from Japan.
The hardest move crumbles
Benjamin Siegrist, Celtic’s third-choice goalkeeper, is certain to stay at Parkhead for the foreseeable future after a loan transfer to
Sturm Graz fell through. The 31-year-old Swiss goalkeeper, who has only made two appearances in the League Cup for Celtic since
