perhaps though Willy Gnonto of Leeds United was playing brilliantly yesterday night, he had the potential to end with a brace or
perhaps a hat-trick, and at one point he even irritated Daniel Farke.
The Yorkshire Evening Post published a list of events that took place off camera on Wednesday, and that is what they reported.
Gnonto was outstanding yesterday night, scoring twice at Liberty Stadium.
His first, cutting inside and using his left foot to thump a shot home at the near post. The second was a lovely move that came after
Cree Summerville passed the ball, and it was fired into the far corner, beyond Carl Rushworth.
Gnonto now has five goals in 28 games this season, but it’s his fourth goal since the start of the campaign in which he’s been given a
starting brief. Dan James might now find it difficult to return to the team.
However, The Evening Post revealed that Farke occasionally became irritated and even furious with Gnonto. The nimble winger did, in
fact, waste a great one-on-one opportunity in the first half along with a plethora of other possibilities.
Farke was displeased when Gnonto missed an opportunity to make it 3-0 in the first twenty minutes. Farke then aggressively clapped
his hands following another wasted opportunity when the score was 3-0. He want more.
Last night, Leeds star Willy Gnonto irritated Daniel Farke.
Naturally, Farke must have been thrilled to see Gnonto score two goals, bringing his total to just three before. He has made 52
appearances for Leeds and has scored seven goals overall.
Farke’s headache is genuine now. Does he stick with Gnonto and capitalize on the recent good form of the Italy star? Or does he start
James again, who has a whopping 17 goals and assists?
After defeating Plymouth 4-1 in extra time at Home Park, Leeds was selected for television coverage again, and we shall find out on
Saturday. Leeds is anticipated to triumph once more.
