Tonight, Georgia Coach Mike White will take on Arkansas for the 37th time in his career as a head coach, assistant coach, or player.
After ending a three-game losing run on January 10 at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia, with a 76-66 victory, White’s teams now have an overall advantage of 22-14.
Before that match, on February 21 at Walton Arena, the Razorbacks had defeated Arkansas 97-65 in his first game as Georgia’s coach.
Additionally, Arkansas defeated White’s Florida teams in two different venues: Walton Arena in 2021 (75-64) and Exactech Arena in 2022 (82-74), marking the Hogs’ first victory there since 1995.
Arkansas has a 26-17 series lead over Georgia, with a 13-3 record at Fayetteville, a 1-0 record at Barnhill Arena, and a 12-3 advantage at Walton Arena.
Once, in 2008, Georgia defeated the Hogs 82-69 in Athens, Georgia, and defeated them 66-57 in the SEC Tournament title game at Georgia Tech’s Alexander Memorial Coliseum in front of a sparsely attended event due to a tornado that had damaged the Georgia Dome earlier in the week.
