The months that Olivier Giroud is expected to spend at AC Milan will be devoted to attempting to win a trophy that he has already won
in his professional career.
The French striker will be driven to win the Europa League with Milan as his farewell gift to the supporters, as Milan News has
pointed out.

Giroud is out of contract with the Rossoneri in June 2024, but he is not formally departing the team at the end of this season. Instead,
it is thought that he has agreed to terms with Los Angeles FC for a free transfer.
Milan is aware that they won’t be able to win the Serie A title until Inter has a genuinely disastrous collapse, therefore their current
priorities are finishing in second place and winning the Europa League.
Giroud can lean on his previous European trophy victory with Chelsea, something that all players aspire to achieve when playing for a
club with Milan roots on the continent.
The Rossoneri’s quarterfinal matchup is against AS Roma; should they win, they’ll play either West Ham United or Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, who lead the Premier League and Bundesliga, respectively, are the overwhelming favorites to win the
competition.
