REPORTED: Steelers on trade deal for………

Pittsburgh According to reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers are considering offers from clubs throughout the league and are willing to

trade wide receiver Diontae Johnson. The Arizona Cardinals are one team that has surfaced as a contender, according to Andrew

Filliponi of 93.7 The Fan.

Why Mike Tomlin Is Still the Right Head Coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers - Steel Curtain Rising

The Cardinals have uncertainty at wide receiver since they are allowing standout wide out Marquise Brown to enter the free agency

market. Due to their commitment to Kyler Murray as quarterback, the team is probably looking to trade for a seasoned veteran wide

out this summer.

Regarding compensation in the event of a Johnson trade, Filliponi mentions the plethora of draft picks that the Cardinals now possess.

Arizona has six picks in the first three rounds, including three third-round picks, before they enter free agency.

Additionally, they have $56 million in cap space that they may use to pay Johnson’s $15.8 million contract this season.

What the Steelers could get for Johnson is a mystery. It appears like the market may be moving in the wrong direction after the

Cleveland Browns acquired Jerry Jeudy from the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round pick; however, if Pittsburgh could secure a

selection high enough, they might make the move and try to add another starter via free agency or the NFL Draft.
