General manager John Lynch was certain that All-Pro pass rusher Nick Bosa would sign a contract extension in the offseason last year,
three days after the San Francisco 49ers’ season concluded.
Lynch claimed that since “each of us wants the same thing,” a compromise may be reached.
Two days after the 49ers’ season concluded two years prior, Lynch voiced optimism that wide receiver Deebo Samuel, an All-Pro,
would sign an extension during the summer.
