According to sources who spoke to Football Insider this summer, Jack Harrison wants to leave Leeds United and join Everton
permanently.
During his season-long loan from the Whites, the winger has adapted well to Goodison Park and grown to be an important member of
Sean Dyche’s team.
Football Insider has been informed by reliable sources that Harrison wants to stay in the Premier League for the upcoming season and
does not want to go back to Elland Road, even if they get promoted from the Championship.
The 27-year-old’s long-term relocation, though, will depend on the outcome of the Toffees’ points deduction appeal and the team’s
impending acquisition by 777 Partners.
Jack Harrison is unsure about his Leeds move and wants to join Everton permanently.
These key elements will dictate the team’s off-season transfer budget and whether they can afford to acquire Harrison.
Harrison’s loan to Everton is said to have no buy-in option, so if they choose to keep him, they will need to start over in talks with
Daniel Farke’s team.
For the Merseyside giants this season, the former Middlesbrough player has four goals and three assists across all competitions.
Since his injury comeback in late September, he has started eighteen league games, solidifying his place in Dyche’s starting lineup.
Harrison left Leeds last summer, which infuriated many Elland Road supporters because Leeds appear to be in line for an instant
promotion back to the Premier League.
Following their 1-1 draw with Brighton on Saturday, February 24, Everton is presently ranked 17th in the Premier League, while Leeds
is ranked second in the Championship following their 3-1 victory over league leaders Leicester City on Friday, February 23.
The Whites meet Chelsea in the FA Cup on Wednesday night (28 February), while the Toffees will play West Ham United on Saturday,
March 2.
