Trayce Jackson-Davis will return to the G-League, the Golden State Warriors have confirmed following their
disheartening afternoon loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Jackson-Davis will have the chance to play for the Santa
Cruz Warriors on Tuesday when they take on the Ontario Clippers, as Golden State won’t play again until
Wednesday.
The Warriors stated the following when they announced the roster change:
It was reported today that Trayce Jackson-Davis, a center/forward, has been assigned by the Golden State Warriors
to their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. Jackson-Davis is anticipated to participate in Santa Cruz’s game
at Toyota Arena tomorrow night (7 p.m. PST tipoff) against the Ontario Clippers. Jackson-Davis has played in three
games (all starts) for the Santa Cruz Warriors this season.
averaging 27.7 minutes per game, 19.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.3 blocks. With Golden State,
Jackson-Davis has played in 13 games, averaging 7.9 minutes, 3.0 points, and 1.8 rebounds per contest.
Jackson-Davis will probably be called up for Golden State’s upcoming game on Wednesday against the Portland Trail
Blazers, but for the time being, it makes sense to have him with the G-League squad to get valuable playing
experience. Jackson-Davis has not had many opportunities to play in the NBA, so the Warriors would rather that he
continue to grow in the G-League by playing regularly.
