A former Liverpool trialist is visiting Everton and may decide to join the team…….

At Liverpool, a large number of players attend trials. A few of them finally signed a contract with the team.

Liverpool is renowned for bringing in gifted players from all over the world to spend time at the club so that the academy coaches can

evaluate their skill level.

Brandan Craig, then 15 years old, was one of the kids that was invited to the club for a trial back in 2019.

The Northeast Times reports that Craig spent a week at Liverpool and made an impression with his “humble” demeanor.

He went on to captain the USMNT at the U20 level after that, competing in the most recent U20 World Cup. But now it appears he

could sign for the team’s adversaries rather than Liverpool.

Craig Brandan to Everton?

Jose Roberto Nunez of Philadelphia Union Beat reports that Craig is presently on trial with Everton. For the USMNT U20

international, a “permanent move” might be in the works.

Craig has played for the senior team of the Philadelphia Union, an MLS team, just once.

Even at just 19, he already has a great reputation. Despite his struggles to get playing time, he did not play for Austin FC throughout

his season-long loan.

Whether he signs a long-term contract to join Everton is still up in the air. In the end, Liverpool has plenty of young players in Craig’s

position, so this loss doesn’t seem that great. particularly in light of Jarell Quansah’s rise this season.
