The consensus top-ranked recruiting class for the 2024 cycle will be the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Despite the fact that Alabama signed 23 players (out of 25 commits), the Tide still has room for more talent.
Head coach Nick Saban of the Crimson Tide stated that he would especially like to bring additional talent to the
offensive line room.
This 2024 cycle, coach Eric Wolford signed three offensive line prospects: William Sanders, Joseph Ionata, and
Casey Poe. Alabama recruited five linemen in its 2023 class the year before. Due to the impending departures of
Darrian Dalcourt, Seth McLaughlin, and JC Latham, it will be critical to continue searching for additional linemen
who can provide depth to the team going forward.
Indeed, we believe they have a great deal of potential. We think those players have a lot of ability, we know a lot
about them, we’ve had them in camp, and we’re pleased to have them here. Obviously, there’s a developmental
position, so those individuals are guys that Saban stated on Wednesday. “We believe they have the potential to
become excellent players and prospects. I continue to believe that we are still sort of searching the market for more
offensive lineman. only in terms of quantitative analysis and overall experience quality. Although we’re happy to
have them, we’re currently searching for someone to fill that role.”
If Favour Edwin chooses to enroll in the class, Alabama will have an additional prospect in the Class of 2024 in the
room. The three-star tackle has delayed his recruitment since he isn’t sure where he will play college ball.
Saban has access to the transfer portal as well. In the offensive line room, he has already pulled it off once, bringing
in Tyler Steen to play left tackle a few seasons back.
