During his initial short-term contract, Hadfield, 26, made eight appearances and contributed greatly to the victory against Gloucester.

The hooker began playing for Richmond before moving on to the Jersey Reds.

“I’m really looking forward to building on what’s been an exciting few months, making my Premiership debut and being involved in a tough win on the road at Gloucester,” Hadfield stated.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to stay at Sarries this season,” he stated on the club’s website. Being a member of this gifted playing group makes me happy, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.”
