Another former Alabama defensive back, Kristian Story, who registered through the transfer portal after the Rose Bowl defeat,
declared his intention to move to Kentucky on Wednesday.
This past season, Story, a junior, participated in 11 games for the Crimson Tide. He finished with 15 tackles, one interception, and a
tackle for a loss. Story has played 18 games with a total of 215 snaps over the past three years.
According to the 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-1, 211-pound native of Lanett, Alabama, initially committed to Alabama as a 4-star
recruit and top-200 prospect. He chose Alabama over Tennessee and Texas A&M, among other schools, as a part of the 2020
recruiting class.
Story was one of three defensive backs, along with Earl Little Jr., who is currently playing for Florida State, and Jake Pope, among the
17 Alabama players entered the transfer portal during the December window, which started on December 4. He is the third person
to commit to an SEC institution out of the ten who have chosen a new school.
