Given that his older brother is running back Travis Etienne of the Jacksonville Jaguars, you may be familiar with
Trevor Etienne.
However, Etienne’s contributions to the Gators on the football field will be well-known to Florida football fans. He
split time with Montrell Johnson Jr. and ran 249 times for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons at
Gainesville, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
Although Etienne’s productivity is excellent, he will regrettably be representing another team in 2024 and possibly
beyond for the Gators. The 5’9, 205-pound back made the announcement that he will be going to Georgia on X, the
website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Etienne could be able to contribute right away for Georgia and could perhaps be the starting quarterback in 2024.
That, combined with Georgia’s hopes for a championship, has to be one of the reasons he chose to transfer to UGA.
Seniors Daijun Edwards (819 yards, 11 touchdowns) and Kendall Milton (686 yards, 12 touchdowns) are the
Bulldogs’ two best rushers from the previous campaign.

Georgia Bulldogs: One more offensive star, Brock Bowers, is not traveling with the team to the Orange Bowl
In order to get ready for their impending Orange Bowl game against the Florida State Seminoles, the Georgia
Bulldogs have traveled to South Florida.
Despite having a strong case to qualify for the College Football Playoff, both schools were unable to secure a spot
among the elite four college football programs chosen by the selection committee.
There were a few notable absences when the team arrived to start game preparations, despite the fact that the
majority of Georgia’s star players, who were instrumental in keeping the Bulldogs as the top team in the nation for
the majority of the college football season, intend to suit up for the Orange Bowl against the Seminoles.
Georgia Bulldogs Don’t Have Brock Bowers or Amarius Mims When They Get to the Orange Bowl
On3 reports that offensive tackle Amarius Mims and tight end Brock Bowers were not observed exiting the plane
with the team on Tuesday night at Miami International Airport, and head coach Kirby Smart offered little
explanation.
Due to their continued ailments, it is now unclear whether either player will play in the Orange Bowl.
“At the moment, we have our players who are in good health playing,” Smart responded when questioned about opt-
outs. “All of the guys who have been cleared to play and are fully healthy have stated they will play.”
I leave that to Brock. When questioned specifically about Bowers, Smart responded, “Brock’s been with us the entire
time and he’s been doing all the things he’s got to do.” Still, it’s more crucial that he be at 100%. The guy came out
and competed his butt off, possibly playing earlier than he should have. He has given Georgia everything he has.
Because he’s not 100%, it’s a little more difficult.
Bowers and Mims would eventually arrive in Miami, even if they did not disembark from the plane with the squad.
Although it seems that the two players will miss the game, it doesn’t go far enough to prove it, so on Saturday they
might both show up for the Georgia Bulldogs.
