Following a recent injury, Brittany Mahomes is recovering.
On March 6, the former soccer player—who is married to Patrick Mahomes and has two children, Sterling, age three, and Patrick
“Bronze,” age fifteen—updated followers on his health and included a word of caution for new mothers.
“Just a daily reminder to please take care of your pelvic floor once you have children. Truly,” she wrote as the caption for a selfie on
Instagram Stories. “From: A girl with a fractured back.”
According to the University of Utah Health, pelvic floor issues can arise during childbirth and present as lower back pain, lack of
bladder control, and other symptoms.
The 28-year-old provided a positive update on her recuperation process even though she did not disclose the precise cause of her back
issue.
“But vacaying with my homies will maybe make it better?” Brittany added, sharing a picture of her daughter Sterling holding Patrick’s
hand.
Brittany has always been a regular at her husband’s Kansas City Chiefs games when she’s not at home with her young children. This
past season, the two even bonded as they supported their partners on the field.
Following his team’s victory in the Super Bowl on February 11, the quarterback told a reporter, “Brittany is a great wife with two great
kids.” “I can’t ask for anything better than this.”
Additionally, Brittany has been open about the scrutiny that comes with being in the public eye all the time. She married her high
school sweetheart Patrick in 2022.
“You will either be loved or hated by people,” she declared in February, the year of her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut. “But finding
your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters.”
