The Packers are aware that their prospects of making the playoffs could be significantly impacted by each and every
game they play from now on. With a victory, the 6-7 Packers might hold onto their seventh playoff seed. The teams
that are 6-7 are also the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New
Orleans Saints.
The Packers added a 29-year-old veteran to their active roster before their game against Tampa Bay, knowing that
they needed to win.
A 29-year-old running back is added to the Green Bay Packers’ active roster ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’
visit to Lambeau Field.
Drake was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster by the Green Bay Packers.
Drake was added to the practice squad by the Packers earlier this month. Earlier in the season, he caught two passes
for a total of 31 yards while playing for Baltimore. He later worked out with the Browns practice squad but was never
a player.
Drake played in 12 games for Baltimore last season, rushing for 482 yards and catching 17 catches for 89 yards and a
touchdown.
Drake has only been in Green Bay for two weeks, but this is his second elevated game. He was the third running back
option, thus he added depth, but he didn’t play versus New York.
