Both college football and college football fighting have returned.
Attendees of the Georgia vs. Oregon game on Saturday posted a video of a crazed altercation that broke out in the Atlanta Mercedes-
Benz Stadium concession area.
The video opens with a red-clad Georgia supporter looming over a man in a black shirt and hat who is lying on the ground. The man in
black gets hit so hard on the head by the Georgia supporter that his eyeglasses and cap fly off.
While other spectators try to stop him, the man in black attempts to stand up but instead stumbles backward. But it doesn’t work
because the man in the black shirt gets up, tackles the Georgia supporter to the ground, and pins him against a concession stand. A
third man tries to break it up, but it looks like the two are trading punches.
The intervention seems to be working. As the video comes to a conclusion, they are split off and start to move apart.
Georgia’s 49-3 blowout of Oregon marked the start of the Bulldogs’ defense of their national championship. Meanwhile, the Ducks had
a great deal of difficulty with their new quarterback, Auburn transfer Bo Nix.
