Deebo Samuel may not be able to make it to Monday’s practice, but he has good cause. We’d like to extend our congratulations. The
wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers announced his fatherhood on social media.
He received congratulations from a number of his teammates, including Jeff Wilson Jr., Kyle Juszczyk, and Raheem Mostert. Their
Pro Bowl wideout even received compliments from the 49ers official Twitter account.
Samuel, 25, was selected by the 49ers in the second round of the 2019 draft out of South Carolina. In his third season, the player has
racked up 70 receptions for 1,247 yards, five scores by reception, and seven touchdowns via rush. They’re all career highs.
It was revealed on December 22 that Samuel has been selected for his first Pro Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills selected Johnson (6-6, 253) in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft (225th overall).
He has played in 38 games (one start) across his four-year NFL career with the Bills (2019–20), Carolina Panthers (2021), and Seattle
Seahawks (2022), recording 21 tackles and 2.0 sacks.
On August 30, 2022, Johnson was waived by the Carolina Panthers. The Seahawks claimed him off waivers the following day. Later,
