The forward Alex Fudge has signed a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks, the team announced today. The deal’s terms were
not revealed in accordance with team policy.
Fudge (6-8, 200) participated for the Los Angeles Lakers’ summer league team before agreeing to a Two-Way contract on July 26. This
season, he played in four Lakers games and was a part of the team that took home the NBA’s first-ever In-Season Tournament title.
The 20-year-old joined the South Bay Lakers, the team’s G League franchise, on January 10 after being waived by Los Angeles on
January 6. He played 17.3 minutes a game with an average of 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks for South Bay in 18 regular-
season games in 2023–2024. Additionally, he was in

Fudge averaged 5.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 19.3 minutes in 32 games (11 starts) for the Gators. He announced his candidacy for
the NBA Draft after his sophomore year.
Fudge is going to wear the Mavericks’ No. 3.
