COMMANDERS SIGN TWO FORMING PRACTICE SQUAD PLAYERS FEBRUARY 22 Zach Selby of the team reports that guard
Mason Brooks and receiver Kazmeir Allen were signed by the Washington Commanders. They were both on the practice squad for
2023.
CALEB WILLIAMS WILL JOIN NFL ON FEB. 21 WITHOUT AGENT Caleb Williams, the quarterback for the University of Southern
California and one of the top signal callers in the 2024 NFL Draft, has not signed an agent and has no intention of doing so, according
to Pro Football Talk.
The practice of athletes speaking for themselves is not new; linebacker Bobby Wagner of the Seattle Seahawks and quarterback Lamar
Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens have both done it in the past.
However, Williams may find it challenging to manage the demanding schedule that includes getting ready for the NFL Combine, his
Pro Day, and scheduling pre-draft visits with organizations.
However, Williams is still the clear favorite to be the first overall pick in the draft; the Washington Commanders, ranked second, could
not even have a chance to select the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner.
