The team occasionally makes a surprise signing that we’d want to see, but not often in a positive way.
Daniel Vogelbach has agreed to a minor-league contract with the Jays. Should he make a major league team, he will receive $2 million.
Left-handed hitter Vogelbach, 31, has spent eight seasons in Major League Baseball. One of those seasons included time spent with the
Jays. Before we waived him and the Brewers acquired him in 2020, he had five PAs with us.
He has 80 home runs and a.220/.342/.410 batting line after 571 games played. He appeared in 104 games for the Mets in the previous
season, batting.233/.339/.404 with 13 home runs and a 0.2 bWAR.
His profundity. He would require Justin because he can only play first and DH.
Today, Ricky Tiedemann threw BP at a speed of 96 mph. They say he is loose and hits the number easily, but I’m not usually a fan of
them going all out in the early sessions.
After throwing just 62 innings the previous season, he claims the team hasn’t provided him an estimate for the number of innings he
will be limited to this year.
Being back with the Jays brings Kevin Kiermaier joy. Anytime I read that someone has fun with the Blue Jays, I’m thrilled.
