from Tennessee, is anticipated to arrive in Fayetteville late on Friday night and depart on Sunday.

According to Pro Football Focus, Nichols, who is 6 feet 5 inches and 327 pounds, participated in every game during

the 2023 regular season for the Vols and had an overall offensive rating of 61.3. In 2022, he participated in two

games as a freshman as well.

He can play both guard and center.

Rated as high as the No. 8 interior offensive lineman in the country by 247 Sports and the No. 111 overall prospect by

ESPN, he was a unanimous 4-star recruit.

As a senior at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia in 2022, he first chose the Vols over offers from

Florida, Ohio State, Georgia, Southern Cal, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, and other schools. Nichols

still qualifies for three more years.

The Tennessee Volunteers have not fared well in the early returns via the transfer portal. Although they haven’t

if that combo stays in the SEC because they produced a lot of plays for the Vols this season.

Football in Tennessee is almost done with the offseason. After finishing the regular season, the Vols are

concentrating on building their roster for the 2023 campaign. With all of the most recent NFL Draft announcements

and portal entries, Volunteer Country has the fans covered. The portal window is open from January 2 to December

4. Players will have to wait until May after spring practice to access the transfer portal if they do not transfer within

that time.
