DANVILLE, Virginia (WDBJ): To help with the storm recovery operations, a group from Danville will travel to

Clarksville, Tennessee on Tuesday.

God’s Pit Crew intends to assist the local communities hardest hit by the storm that resulted in numerous fatalities

and numerous injuries on Saturday.

God’s Pit Crew reports that in order to remove the rubble, volunteers and staff are bringing tools including

chainsaws, tarps, and semi trucks.

The group claims that they will also provide non-perishable food, water, hygiene products, first aid kits, Bibles, and

handwritten words of encouragement to the community as emergency relief materials.

This devastating and deadly series of storms has wreaked enormous harm. God’s Pit Crew President Randy Johnson

stated, “We are prepared to start working to help the survivors and we continue to pray for everyone affected.”

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports our organization. Johnson highlighted, “Everyone who donates

and volunteers to our relief efforts helps our mission of providing hope and healing be a true possibility.”
