It is said that Ndamukong Suh wants to sign with an NFL team.
Reuniting with the Detroit Lions, the team that selected him, is apparently something that the free agent defensive
lineman and former star of Grant High School Generals was interested in. After the Lions hired defensive tackle
Tyson Alaalu last week, Detroit head coach Dan Campbell appeared to remark, “Thanks, but no thanks.”
“Yes, sir, (general manager of the Lions) looked at everything, we haven’t missed anyone,” Campbell said the media.
We gave each person a quick glance. We believe that the choice we took at this time was the right one for us.
After leaving the Lions, Suh has played for four teams, including three in four seasons from 2018 to 2022. According
to Terry Foster of the Detroit News, the Lions were allegedly concerned about how well Suh would fit into the
organization’s present culture and whether or not he was a player who put himself before the team.
In the 2010 NFL Draft, the Lions selected Suh with their second-round pick (the second overall pick). In 2015, Suh
signed a $110 million, six-year contract with the Miami Dolphins, leaving the Lions. Since then, Suh has played for
the Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Los Angeles Rams. He participated in three Super Bowls and
was a Buccaneers winner.
