According to the most recent sources, Leeds United has entered the competition for Northern Irish teenage phenom
Jack Hastings, in light of Finley Gorman’s imminent move to Manchester City.
The Yorkshire Evening Post was the first to reveal that the 15-year-old youngster was being coveted by European
champions Man City, who were having difficulty holding onto him.
Regardless of his age, Gorman has consistently defied expectations. At just 14 years and 326 days old, he became the
youngest-ever talent to score a brace in an U18s Premier League match against Arsenal during the previous season.
Football Insider is claiming that Gorman will still cost £1.2 million to join the Manchester United team, contingent
upon passing a medical. This suggests that Gorman’s transfer fee may not be as high as some media have claimed.
Moreover, a recent report released by Football Insider earlier today disclosed that Leeds United is getting ready to
counterbalance the loss of Gorman by attempting to sign 17-year-old Larne sensation Jack Hastings. However, they
would have to contend with fierce competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Premier League team.
The child is a complete U17 international for Despite not turning 18 until March, he made his senior debut with
Larne in the Irish Cup this season, representing Northern Ireland.
