Dallas — The Dallas Mavericks will be watching a number of important players on the injury report heading into their game against
the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. Leading the way is superstar Luka Doncic, who just finished with 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 10
assists against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Derrick Jones Jr. (left shoulder strain), Maxi Kleber (left knee discomfort), and Doncic (right ankle injury) were all designated by the
Mavericks as questionable to play against the Pacers. Despite being listed, Dereck Lively II (nasal fracture) is already cleared to play.
Throughout the season, Doncic has suffered with ankle problems, including a sprain to his right ankle that he recovered from before
the NBA All-Star break. After a play against the Sixers, he got up from the court and appeared to be disturbed, but he continued to play
the entire game.

percentage, 38.0 percent three-point range, and 78.4 percent free throw percentage. In an effort to lead the Mavs with Kyrie Irving to
a better conclusion than the 38-44 record the team had the previous season—a season in which they were unable to advance to the
play-in tournament—he has crafted an incredible season.
While he heals from a nasal fracture, Lively continues to wear a mask to protect his nose. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd thinks Lively
might take it off during the Mavs’ three-game homestand, but he can’t say exactly when. Three or four weeks after his operation on
February 5 was the initial schedule.
Kidd remarked, “I’m not sure how much longer hopefully maybe it comes off this home stand.” However, it’s been a while, so he’s
probably growing accustomed to wearing it.
The Mavs must quickly put together a winning streak after dropping their last four games. This losing streak began with a setback
against the Pacers at the beginning of a four-game road trip in the Eastern Conference. Dallas will get the opportunity to
