Nottingham Forest has received a last-minute proposal of £4 million for the 27-year-old…….

A last-minute bid was made for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall, but Evangelos Marinakis ruined the deal.

Sabah is the source of this information.

So, what has been said regarding Worrall’s exit from Forest? Let’s investigate more closely.

Joe Worrall’s approach was halted by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

It seems that a different Turkish team made an attempt to sign Worrall and even put forward a £4 million offer.

Sabah claims, meanwhile, that Marinakis had previously promised a close friend.

Now that Worrall has signed with Hasan Arat’s Besiktas from Forest, Marinakis isn’t in the mood to ruin their connection.

Leeds and Sheffield United were two English teams who were interested in the 27-year-old.

But neither party would have liked to include a buyout option; instead, they would have preferred loan agreements.

After a lengthy tenure with the team, Worrall is leaving the Reds, and he will be eager to establish himself overseas.

Now is Worrall’s opportunity to get going again.

The fact that a different team made an outright cash offer for Forest defender Worrall and it was turned down is rather intriguing.

When Steve Cooper was the club’s manager, the player got into a fight with him that cost him regular playing time.

The defender is obviously capable of working someplace, and it will be interesting to watch how he does.

Worrall played more than 200 games for Forest before quitting as the captain of the team he had grown up to love.

Worrall’s permanent signing with the club throughout the summer will undoubtedly become a formality given that Marinakis and the

Besiktas owner appear to be excellent friends.
