By securing three of the top linemen through the NCAA transfer portal, offensive line coach Eric Mateos and football
coach Sam Pittman of the University of Arkansas made significant progress in addressing the needs of the offensive
line.
On November 20, Keyshawn Blackstock, a former offensive lineman for Michigan State, became the first to sign with
the Hogs.
He is ranked No. 118 overall and No. 7 offensive tackle in the portal by On3.com.
Blackstock, who stands 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 315 pounds, visited Ole Miss and North Carolina State before
making an official trip to Fayetteville on November 11 for the Auburn game.
He turned down scholarship offers from Nebraska, Colorado, Louisville, Maryland, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and
the Wolf Pack in favor of the Hogs.

Along with classmate Lorando Johnson, Walcott, a fellow transfer defensive back, arrived from Baylor as a redshirt
super senior. Despite dealing with a couple injuries, Walcott participated in all 12 of this season’s games. In addition
to tying McGlothern for the most interceptions with three, he finished the season as Arkansas’ fourth-highest tackler
with 56.
This offseason, Arkansas has lost a total of seventeen scholarship players to the NFL Draft or transfer portal. The
NCAA’s decision to eliminate the 25 scholarship signee cap has allowed teams to make more effective and efficient

Regarding other potential NFL departures, Landon Jackson declared he will play one more season for the
Razorbacks at the very least. The native of Texarkana, Texas, was listed as the best defensive end prospect for the
