Teams consisting of four men and four women will compete against one another over the course of a weekend in Manchester.
The competition was first held in 1991 and was not held again until 2022. The winners of that first edition were Steve Davis and
Allison Fisher.

After winning in Milton Keynes, Neil Robertson and Mink Nutcharut will come back to this location to defend their titles.
Rebecca Kenna, Reanne Evans, and Baipat Siripaporn will be matched with Mark Allen, Luca Brecel, and Judd Trump, respectively.
Instead of switching after each ball played, players will compete by alternate visits, which means that teammates will stay at the table
until they are unable to pot a ball.

Saturday, March 30, 2024, is the first day of the World Mixed Doubles 2024.
The competition concludes that same weekend, with the championship game taking place on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
