REPORTED: steelers on trade deal for………

Pittsburgh Kenny Pickett, the former quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, isn’t the NFL’s most highly regarded player right now.

He has actually received more criticism than praise since his trade to the Philadelphia Eagles, and one NFL source isn’t holding back

when it comes to his opinions of the former first-round choice.

After Russell Wilson arrived, Pickett reportedly handled it “poorly,” according to reports, and eventually asked to be traded. This led to

Pickett’s departure from the Steelers. After just two seasons, Pittsburgh listened and let go of the former starter, trading him to

Philadelphia for a fourth-round selection in 2025 along with two sixth-round selections and a third-round pick.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk spoke with Chris Simms about the deal and shared his opinions regarding Pickett’s demeanor amid

the circumstances.

Florio remarked, “It seems like he had an entitlement complex.” “And in 24 regular-season starts, what has he accomplished? What

has he done to warrant any kind of entitlement? His standing in the draft? Is that right? If so, he must be ignorant about the NFL

because being selected in the draft does not guarantee anything. The important thing is to play when you get the chance.

And as we’ve been saying for months—and I apologize for saying this—this is a necessary element of what needs to be done. Guys

either play well or poorly. Nothing he’s done has ever caused

In his final season in Pittsburgh, Pickett recorded a 14-10 record with 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He was promptly replaced

by Justin Fields, who was acquired in a trade with the Chicago Bears. In the interim, Pickett backs up Jalen Hurts and is still criticized

by pundits.
