After revealing his choice on Tuesday, former Tennessee Volunteer guard Addison Nichols, Arkansas was able to add
another offensive lineman via the transfer portal. When Nichols, 6-5, 325, officially joins the Razorbacks in January,
he will still be eligible for three more years.
Following his visits to Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas last week, Nichols made his choice. Regarding his
interactions with Razorback head coach Sam Pittman and new offensive line coach Eric Mateos, he had nothing but
positive things to say on Sunday (VIP). Although Nichols was primarily used as a reserve lineman in Knoxville, he
trained as a center and is anticipated to have an opportunity to start for the Razorbacks.
Nichols, a three-star prospect in the Class of 2022 from Norcross, Georgia’s Greater Atlanta Christian, selected the
Vols over an incredible array of offers from schools such as Georgia, USC, Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, Clemson,
and Florida State.
