Tennessee offensive lineman on transfer departs Arkansas following………

Addison Nichols, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Tennessee, was pleased with the coaches and the

business prospects in the region after his official visit to Arkansas.

Speaking with offensive line coach Eric Mateos and coach Sam Pittman of the Razorbacks was the transfer’s favorite

part of the trip, he said, calling the visit “great.”

After departing Fayetteville on Sunday, Nichols remarked, “It was really impressive.” This facility taught me a lot

more than I had anticipated. Everything is around. I had no idea there was so much business and growth in this area.

Beyond football, the program and the school are really remarkable.

graduation. However, the individuals who went over there did an excellent job of showing us around and explaining

everything. Although we weren’t able to see everything at the trading center, we still learned a lot about it, which was

He was regarded as the No. 8 interior offensive lineman in the country and was a unanimous 4-star talent.

Despite offers from Florida, Ohio State, Georgia, Southern Cal, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, and

other universities, he decided to enroll at the Vols. He is still eligible for the next three years.

Nichols traveled to Clemson and Georgia Tech over the past weekend before arriving in Fayetteville late on Friday

night. He provided a straightforward response when asked how the visit affected Arkansas’s chances with him.
