The Green Bay Packers had to make some roster changes as they got ready for Week 15 in an attempt to get back on
the winning track after a very disappointing loss to the New York Giants in Week 14.
The 53-man roster space became available on Tuesday after the Packers dismissed cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly from
the active roster. It is noteworthy that last week saw the return of Eric Stokes to practice after he was placed on the
injured reserve in late October. Given that Green Bay benched a CB, it’s plausible that the squad is getting ready for
Stokes’ 24-year-old return.
In addition to letting go of Kelly, the team also released linebacker Austin Ajiake and added wide receiver Thyrick
Pitts to the practice squad.
With Pitts joining Bo Melton and Grant DuBose on the practice squad, the Packers now have three wide receivers on
their roster. Given the ailments they are battling with among their receiving corps, this could indicate that the
organization intends to add one or two wideouts to the roster.
Due to a hamstring injury, Christian Watson was unable to play against the Giants in Week 14, and rookie receivers
Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks may also be out due to injuries sustained in that game. According to SB Nation,
Reed is reportedly suffering from a concussion, and Wicks suffered an ankle injury.
The Green Bay Packers seem to be bracing for the worst, however it remains to be seen what actions they take in
light of their health concerns.

In an effort to maintain their chances of making the playoffs, the Green Bay Packers are very motivated to win as
they approach Week 15.
It is undoubtedly disappointing to lose to the Giants on a walkoff field goal, but the Packers must move on to the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers and don’t waste time lamenting over dropped milk.
In fairness, quarterback Jordan Love of Green Bay did say that they will recover in Week 15. Given that they have
experience doing it, the young quarterback voiced confidence in their ability to return to the win column.
“I believe we have a fantastic team. Naturally, we are a team that has experienced this—we’ve lost a few close games
but managed to turn things around. Thus, I’m confident that we can recover by next week,” Love remarked.
With a 6-7 record on the year, the Packers, who now hold the final NFC place, are still in the running for a Wild Card
berth. However, to ensure their success, they must string victories together in
