Pennsylvania-born Palepale is a 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive lineman. Even though he is merely a three-star

prospect, other programs are interested in him. In July, he made his first commitment to USC, but ultimately felt

Michigan was a better fit. It’s easy to understand why. In the last several seasons, Michigan has fielded some of the

top defensive lines in college football. There is a guard change going on in USC’s defense, but it’s unclear if this

contributed to the turnover.

Comparison for Next Year

The match between these sides is slated for 2024. Early in the Big Ten schedule, the Trojans will visit The Big House.

The Wolverines have a lot of difficult games coming up, this being just one of them. Week 2 sees the Texas

Longhorns visit Ann Arbor. The Wolverines will next play USC, Washington, Oregon, and, of course, Ohio State in

Big Ten play. Next year, nobody will claim that Michigan has a cupcake schedule.
