Steve Sarkisian is being rewarded by the Texas Longhorns.
The Texas Longhorns are offering head football coach Steve Sarkisian a massive compensation increase and a four-year contract
extension, according to On3.
From $5.6 million in 2023 to $10.3 million in 2024, Sarkisian’s salary will rise, placing him as the third highest paid head coach in
college football. His current contract, which expires in 2030, will be extended by four years as part of the agreement, which also
guarantees him $74.2 million. Sarkisian will get a $1.25 million incentive if Texas wins a national championship in the years 2024–
2030.
