There are a lot of cornerbacks and safeties on this list, so be ready for that. Even though the Steelers decimated their secondary going

into the 2024 offseason, they still lack a lot of depth at those areas going into the draft.

space. Even though Peterson is nearing the end of his career and isn’t worth CB2 money, he was a wise presence.

in the Steelers locker room who can play a variety of positions. The course of last season also saw an improvement in his covering.

Peterson is a strong option to rejoin the Steelers in 2024 in a depth role with a lower salary, and there appears to be interest from both

As a nickel cornerback for the Steelers in 2023, Sullivan played mediocrely. His awful coverage lapses probably contributed to his

nonexistent free agent market. However, there are currently no better choices for the Steelers at slot corner, and at least Sullivan is

familiar with the system. He wouldn’t be a bad addition to the training camp as a backup to whatever the Steelers’ current projections

are for the season if he can be obtained for the veteran minimum.
